The Hemorrhoids-Newspaper Connection

Studies have shown that about 50 percent of the adult population age 50 and above probably has a brush with hemorrhoids or piles. Ask me, I should know. But, I am not over 50.
One of the greatest problem I had was having to keep myself entertained when sitting over the toilet bowl. Like most people, I will have the newspaper with me while I do my business. The worst thing was that when I was done with my “thing” I am normally half way through an exciting story.
So guess what? I continued sitting there while reading that story. Over time, hemorrhoids developed.
So, my friend, if you have a similar habit, drop the newspaper and just pass motion and get out fast.
I have proven that newspaper in the toilet is definitely correlated with the development of piles.
